Eugen Systems showed off Steel Division 2, which they are also self-publishing, to press at Gamescom last week. Following its appearance there, a brand new in-engine gamplay trailer and some screenshots of the title have been unveiled, and give us a better idea of how Steel Division 2 will look and play.

While the screenshots focus on the vehicles players will have at their disposal, the trailer highlights some of the newer features. This includes the Armory, where players can view around 600 different unit, all of which Eugen Systems claims are historically accurate. It also gives us a brief look at Dynamic Strategic Campaigns, the main crux of Steel Division 2's single-player.

For those curious, Steel Division 2 is set during Operation Bagration, which is the name for the Russian Counteroffensive against Axis forces in Byelorussia. The game will task players with being in charge of an army core, which players will have to manage wisely. Multiplayer battles will also return, and allow for up to 10v10 matches.

You can check out the new screenshots and trailer below. Steel Division 2 is currently in development for PC, and we will be sure to let you know when it gets an official release date.
