This week's Famitsu magazine (officially titled Weekly Famitsu Magazine August 20-27 020 Issue) included a huuuge interview with Mages President Chiyomaru Shikura, who I don't really need to introduce if you know about Steins;Gate and clicked on this article in the first place. As you already know, a special page for the tenth anniversary projects of Steins;Gate opened back in April 2019. The original Steins;Gate game released on Xbox 360 in Japan on October 15, 2009, over ten years ago now. The anniversary projects were said to be ten projects in total, and seven have been revealed so far, of varying amplitude. It included most notably concerts, an appearance at C97, a Hello Kitty collab, and an Hollywood adaptation were announced too. However, we haven't heard yet about anniversary Projects 7 to 9.In the Famitsu magazine interview, Chiyomaru Shikura explained the announcements have been delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. He explained that Project 7 will be time-limited free access to the Steins;Gate anime and manga adaptations. They're currently setting things up and it'll be officially announced soon. He didn't mention it, but needless to say there's a very high chance this will be limited to Japan. Moreover, Project 8 will be the announcement of new, big event on the Science Adventure Series and Steins;Gate. Shikura mentioned this big event is the same event where we'll learn more about Anonymous;Code and its release date (estimate).Ultimately, this big event is also where we'll get to see what Project 9 is, and Chiyomaru Shikura really hyped it up, meaning it'll definitely be some kind of new Steins;Gate game.Chiyomaru Shikura: "This event is where we'll reveal our plans for Project 9. We're going to drop a huge bomb and you all. Look forward to it."Chiyomaru Shikura also mentioned he'd like to do a "Anime Adventure" Steins;Gate game again, as in an ADV game with actual anime scenes. The same kind of game as Steins;Gate Elite,  which reuses footage from the anime adaptation. He said it'd probably be "Steins;Gate Zero Elite", to introduce Zero to those who haven't played it yet. He mentioned Anonymous;Code has references to Steins;Gate Zero too, so he'd really like people to experience its story soon. Note that a Steins;Gate Zero Elite was already announced in January 2020 at the Science Adventure Series 10th Anniversary Live. Though with no release date or platforms.

Chiyomaru Shikura also wanna make a Science Adventure Series crossover game after Anonymous;Code.

We'll keep covering more of the interview in a separate article.
