PS VR Exclusive Stifled Sounds Off With Announcement Trailer

Gattai Games' horror game Stifled for PS4 and PlayStation VR lands a brand new reveal trailer ahead of its Halloween launch date.

While this isn’t the first time we heard about Gattai Games’ Stifled, the experimental PlayStation VR horror game got a brand new “announcement trailer” for Sony’s Paris Games Week 2017 Press Conference, below.

For those out of the loop, Stifled is a horror game played entirely in the dark. Between terrifying forests and underground scenery, you are left to your own devices to explore the bleak areas. Of course, there is an option for you to illuminate the room by walking and generally making sounds… however, it does come at the expense. Much of the game revolves around you creeping and sneaking past enemies. By making sounds, you will alert them to your position. A decision that may prove deadly.

According to developer Gattai Games, the PS VR title has been in active development for over three years. The game will release exclusively on PS VR tomorrow in time for Halloween — specifically October 31, 2017. Check out the short announcement trailer below, which shows off gameplay and the minimalist visuals:
