In just three days, the Kickstarter for Radiant Entertainments real-time strategy RPG Stonehearth has successfully met the first funding goal. As of now fans have donated an astonishing $147,727 to the game's Kickstarter, which is nearly $30,000 more than the initial funding goal. Fans have demonstrated enormous support for the PC title, which is currently planned to release late this year.

Although the game's initial funding goals have already been met, the Kickstarter will run until May 30th. Radiant has updated the Kickstarter page with a number of stretch goals, which will most likely be met by the time the fundraiser closes. The first stretch goal of $140,000 has already been met. This has funded the Baby Mammoth Bonanza, which will earn all backers of at least $15 an adorable baby mammoth pet.

If the Kickstarter clears $160,000 in donations, the developers will add a friendly faction known as the Rabbit Clan into the game. These rabbit-folk will be potential allies of the player characters. Once a total of $180,000 is donated, a new Glacier Biome area will be developed. Players can build unique snow forts and igloos in this area. Finally, if the Kickstarter clears a total of $200,000 in donations, supporters will have funded the development of both a Mac and Linux port of the game.

Considering the support fans have demonstrated in just three short days, I think it's very likely that Stonehearth's Kickstarter will meet all of its stretch goals and then some by the time the fundraiser closes. To learn more about the game and pledge your support, head over the Kickstarter page.
