Stories Untold Gets New Free Demo, Accolades Trailer, and Discount

Today, publisher Devolver Digital and Scotland-based developer No Code’s announced that their experimental text adventure, horror game, Stories Untold, is getting a new free demo. Additionally, the pair also released a new accolades trailer for the game.

The demo contains the first chapter of Stories Untold, The House Abandon, and offers up a good taste of the rest of the game. Personally, not only do I think you should try this demo — it’s free after all — but you should probably buy the whole game, because at least according to me, it’s quite good.

Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker adds the following about the demo:

“Normally I despise giving the filthy, unwashed masses of gamers even one iota of sweet game content for free. However, even this little bit of Stories Untold will scare the Mountain Dew filled piss out of everyone and they’ll all come crawling back with money in hand for more Stories Untold.”

Stories Untold costs $9.99 USD and is available exclusively on PC. However, if you purchase the game before March 31st, you can snag it for $7.49, thanks to a new 25% discount.

As mentioned above, Devolver Digital released a new accolades trailer for the game that boasts many favorable blurbs and scores about the game from various outlets — you can check it out below:
