Earlier today, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the charming new indie title, Storm Boy by Australian developer Blowfish Studios. The game is based on a 1960's children book of the same name featuring a story revolving around a boy and his relationship with his pet pelican named Mr. Percival. The game takes place on the beaches of South Australia where our protagonist rescues and befriends Mr. Percival.

If you're looking for a game with something more of a small-scale and pleasant tone, then this might be right up your alley. The gameplay appears to consist of mini-games that maintain the calm and relaxing tone the developers set to make a point of.

The mini-games consist of sand drawing, sailing, cockle hunting, playing fetch with  Mr. Percival, sand sailing, pelican feeding and more. While this game doesn't look to bring the hype such as other November titles, Storm Boy is looking to capture an endearing experience for gamers who just want to take a moment and relax with a soothing setting.

You can pick Storm Boy on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch as well as iOS and Android when it releases next month on November 20.
