It seems that the bizarre adventures and supernatural encounters of the Strange Brigade are set to continue with the addition of a brand new character and a continuation of The Thrice Damned DLC campaign.
Rebellion’s deliberately cheesy co-op shooter just launched the second installment of the three-part DLC campaign which will focus on the campy team entering The Sunken Kingdom where they will continue their battle against undead monsters and ghastly beasts. Among the separately shown in the trailer are enormous scorpions and a massive minotaur with an ancient Egyptian aesthetic.
Luckily, the Strange Brigade will be joined by Hachiro Shimizu, a new character who comes armed with a shock grenade which stops enemies dead in their tracks. He also carries a Mikhailov 38-rifle as his main means of attack and a Marchador TT pistol as a sidearm. Hachiro’s amulet power is known as the Decaying Demon Blast which sees him erecting a wave of demonic spikes from the ground.
On top of this, a free update has also given way to new content for the game’s Horde Mode and Score Attack Mode.
Strange Brigade is available now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The jolly good shooter’s latest wave of DLC can currently be purchased seperately or together as part of the title’s season pass.
