At the final hour, Niantic has confirmed a brand new set of Special Research for the second day of this year’s Pokemon GO Fest.

Can You Get Hoopa As Part of This Research?

Let’s set expectations straight away, no you can’t.

Although Niantic has teased the appearance of the Mischief Pokemon, including in the loading screen, players won’t be able to catch it as part of this Special Research.

Instead, however, it does spell the introduction of the X and Y Mythical Pokemon and will surely spell the start of an interesting period where players are tasked to track it down.

All Strange Rings Special Research and Rewards

The Strange Rings Special Research is a relatively short one, with only two steps being required to complete it.
