Street Fighter V's New Character Revealed: it's the Beautiful Menat

Capcom unveiled the new character of Street Fighter V's season 2, and it's Rose's apprentice Menat.

August 27, 2017

During the Hong Kong eSports Festival, Capcom just revealed the new character that will appear in Street Fighter V.

The new character is Rose’s apprentice Menat, a fortune teller who appears for the first time in Ed’s character story. Very little is known about her at the moment, but we’ll probably hear more soon, and learn about her past in when she launches as DLC.

Of course, she’s completely new as a playable character, even if you could say that she definitely reminds of Rose. She’s also quite cute, which never hurts.

Menat will be released on August 29th, as part of the Season 2 character pass alongside Akuma, Kolin, Ed and Abigail.

Check out her reveal trailer below. If you want to see more, you can check out some more costumes and stages that will also come on August 29th, the latest batch released at the end of last month, the trailer that revealed the most recently-released character Abigail, and quite a bit of gameplay showing off his moves.
