Street Fighter 6 recently launched to widespread praise among fans and critics alike, and though the more hardcore fighting game players are focusing on the game's stellar gameplay mechanics and content variety, and climbing the ranks in online play, some other players have decided to spend their time bringing characters from other universes and IP into SF6 via the character creator.

Many of these creations are as impressive as they are ridiculous. Street Fighter 6 added a robust single-player story mode wherein you can create your own playable avatar, a series first. Though the campaign by itself is nothing to write home about, the ability to place yourself or a character of your choosing into the Street Fighter world and use them in battle was obviously something that was immediately appealing.

The best part is that developer Capcom smartly made it so that your created avatars aren't restricted to the World Tour campaign and can actually be used against others online, so players have the opportunity to show their creations in action to the world (though, of course, not in any form of ranked gameplay).

Another smart choice from Capcom was that they put the time and resources into making the creator as deep as possible, abstaining from adding human-like limitations to physical proportions. Essentially, you can push the creator to pretty extreme lengths in order to make your desired character, as seen with the creations of Popeye, and GigaChad.

However, setting aside the ability to create characters with exaggerated proportions, players have also made various faithful recreations of some well-known pop culture figures, such as Gordon Ramsey, Mike Tyson, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and more.

Ganondorf SF6

As expected, of course, many popular video game characters have gotten the avatar treatment as well, like Ganondorf, Groose from Skyward Sword, and a particularly impressive depiction of Sojourn from Overwatch. Undoubtedly, with the game only being out for a couple of days, the fan-made crossovers have only begun, and we'll likely only see more as players keep learning the ins and outs of the character creator.
