Today, Capcom released a retrospective video of Street Fighter III. Before last week's launch of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, a compilation of twelve classic Street Fighter titles, they shared another video looking back at both the original Street Fighter and all the versions of Street Fighter II.

Like its predecessor, the video goes chronologically, beginning with discussing the characters in Street Fighter III. While the character animation was gorgeous, the roster was vastly different than what fans of the series knew from previous games. They took awhile to warm up to the new fighters, but over time the whole line-up earned their place in the Street Fighter series.

It goes onto describe the gameplay mechanics and other changes made in Street Fighter III that eventually became integral to the Street Fighter series like being able to parry attacks and dash forward and backward. The video also goes in depth to describe the impact of Street Fighter III: Second Impact and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.
