EVO is an exciting time for many fighting game fans, as they get to see some of their favorite players go head-to-head in a competition, and they can check out some of the newest fighting games. While Street Fighter V has had previously had large presence at EVO,  Capcom announced on Twitter earlier that they had to cancel its Street Fighter V EVO panel.Despite the cancellation of the panel, that same Twitter post also reassured fans that there are still "several" announcements planned for Street Fighter V this weekend. The Street Fighter logo recenetly changed on Twitter and Facebook, and Yoshinori Ono has been teasing a Street Fighter related announcement on his own Twitter account, so it does seem like we will see something new and big come out of EVO for Street Fighter V.

For those attending EVO this year, Capcom did state that Yoshinori Ono will be present at the Capcom booth on Friday and Saturday. Capcom will also be showing off the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite at the event. DualShockers will be sure to keep you updated on any big Street Fighter V announcements that come out of EVO 2017.

EVO 2017 is running from today, July 14 to July 16. Street Fighter V is currently available for PC and PS4.
