Street Fighter V: New Arab Character Announced in Dubai, Joins the Cast of Playable Characters

on September 11, 2015 8:10 AM

During a stage show at Dubai Games 2015 livestreamed via Periscope, Capcom Producer Yoshinori Ono announced the latest character to join the Street Fighter V cast, Rashid.

Capcom followed the same route as Bandai Namco, in fact, like Tekken 7‘s Shaheen, Rashid is a character of Arab ethnicity, wearing the traditional Middle Eastern headdress.

With this, we’re way past the half way point, with eleven characters announced out of the sixteen that will be playable at launch next year. Below you can see an image captured from the Periscope stream, while we wait for official assets.
