Street Fighter V Sponsors Ex Boxers to Train With World Champion for Title Match; Shirt Released

Street Fighter V‘s logo will now be linked to one of the most anticipated boxing matches of the past few years, as Capcom is sponsoring the “Cayote Boys,” a group of ex boxers that is helping eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao train for his upcoming title match against five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

The match will put several boxing titles on the line, and will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Paradise, Nevada on May 2nd.

Most of the “Cayote Boys” come from disadvantaged social situations, and are currently helping Pacquiao during his daily training routine.

Capcom released a Street Fighter V shirt linked to the sponsorship, which is the same worn by the Cayote Boys. You can find it here for $25, available in limited quantities and see a few pictures below.

The publisher also launched a video, placing the spotlight on the men taking part in the training part, which you can see below.
