The classic video game Ninja, Strider makes his triumphant return to consoles today.

Like the original game from the Nintendo Entertainment System, this latest version of Strider is an action sidescroller. Since it is still built in 3d, there will be moments of the game that utilize a different camera angle. The game takes place in the city of Kazakh and will have Strider facing off against endless hordes of enemies. He’ll do so in style of course and utilize his environment to get the drop on those who would see him dead.

The game features modes such as Beacon Run and Survival Mode. Beacon Run is for all intents and purposes, a speed run where players have to hit checkpoints while slicing up foes in the shortest time possible. Survival Mode is pretty much what its called and you’ll have to survive against consecutive waves of enemies.

Strider is available now for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
