Capcom just released a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming side scroller Strider, that will hit the shelves in Japan on February 22nd, while the rest of the world still doesn’t have a firm release date.

The screenshots show quite a bit of gameplay and introduce a key character, the Dark Merchant, which is the leader of the resistance and in charge of the refugees . We also get a glimpse on the Millipede, that Hiryu will have to face due to a deal with the Dark Merchant himself.

While we wait for a firm release date for the western markets, you can enjoy the gallery just below.
