PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners who are mech and space combat aficionados have a reason to celebrate today. Born Ready Games has announced that their Kickstarter funded game, Strike Suit Zero will be heading to both current generation systems.

Here’s a bit of background on the game.

Strike Suit Zero is a space combat game that places you at the center of a desperate battle to save Earth from imminent destruction. You pilot a number of craft including the Strike Suit, a powerful transforming space craft that allows you to change tactics in an instant and seize any possible advantage. The game features fast-paced gameplay, vivid, highly detailed environments and an immersive soundtrack.

The console version of the game will be a director’s cut. The early part of the game will be redone so that players can pilot the Strike Suit Zero faster. Other goodies include the Marauder and Raptor suits as well as the Heroes of the Fleet add on.

You can never have enough mechs in your life is what I always say so this is definitely some cool news. Excuse me while I go watch Super Dimension Fortress Macross.
