Playdius announced that the Fun Punch Games developed “Dodgebrawl” game Strikers Edge will launch worldwide on PlayStation 4-via PSN and PC-via Steam on January 30 in North America and January 31.

Strikers Edge is a fast-paced multiplayer game which features a roster of eight playable ancient warrior characters from different eras and civilizations. Players must aim their various attacks at opponents while dodging and finding cover to prevent them from being attacked in return.

Currently, there are four different areas to choose from which each feature diverse hazards and obstacles as well as different ways to strategically get away from the opponents attacks.

Strikers Edge is played online or through local multiplayer battle, with a variety of different modes. One mode, exclusive to the Steam version, is “Twitch Mode”, where viewers in the Twitch chat can mess with the player’s match by choosing different modifiers and perks to add to the match.

Additionally, to celebrate the launch, Fun Punch Games will host two special Twitch live streams during Striker Edge’s last Steam Open Beta session. Players will get to watch the game’s developers and other beta testers go head to head.
