Chambara developer Team OK announced today with a press release that its competitive multiplayer action title will come to PS4 in 2016.

The game is actually quite quirky and interesting, involving competitive deathmatches between up to four players.

The world is painted in flat black and white, and so are the characters, basically re-inventing the concept of hide-and-seek and allowing players to hide in plain sight to ambush their opponents.

Of course, characters are invisible only from a specific angle, and a shift in perspective can reveal their presence.

Here's a list of bullet points:

  • Unique, dichromatic aesthetic drawing inspiration from a range of sources.
  • An unparalleled marriage of mechanics and visuals.
  • Inviting a non-toxic accessible environment to a broad audience.
  • Delicate balance rewards both casual and invested play.
