Summoner Class Brings A RTS Element to Dungeon Defenders

Meet the Summoner, a visitor from the Crystalline Dimension. Accompanied with two pets, this arcane master can form hordes of minions out of sentient crystals; creating armies to wage war against those who would be foolish enough to attack him. Armed with the shift ability, the summoner can phase himself around the map in a ghostly form, unable to be harmed.

Along with his unique abilities, the summoner can switch from the default third-person view to a top-down “Overlord Mode” to handle the battle in a real time strategy fashion. Players can create, command, and organize their minions in a quick and easy fashion. The summoner provides a unique and fun new perspective to the already innovative tower defense action RPG presented by Reverb, and should lure some RTS fans.
