You can sign up for the beta by signing up for the game’s mailing list here, which in turn enters you in the race to win access. If you backed the game on Kickstarter, you will automatically gain access.
The beta is said to offer up a never-before-seen version of the game, and is only available on PC (aka it’s not available on PS4).
For those of you who have never heard of Sundered — no problem — here’s an overview and its announcement trailer:
Sundered is a horrifying fight for survival and sanity, a hand-drawn epic from the creators of Jotun. You play Eshe, a wanderer in a ruined world, trapped in everchanging caverns teeming with eldritch horrors. Harness the power of corrupted relics to defeat gigantic bosses, at the cost of your humanity. Resist or embrace.
- Beautiful hand-drawn art

- Dynamic encounters against hordes of enemies
- A mix of hand-crafted & procedural levels
- Corruptible abilities
- Multiple endings
Sundered is in development for PC and PS4. It is scheduled to arrive sometime this July. If you want, you can read about the game’s very successful Kickstarter here and learn more about its protagonist here.
