This morning Konami announced that Super Bomberman R will bring the series back on Nintendo Switch, and during a Treehouse livestream held this afternoon, Nintendo presented quite a nice chunk of gameplay.

The game make use of the console’s Joy-Con controllers to enable multiplayer, and in fact the footage shows two players at the same time on the console. Afterwards, we also see a player vs player competitive battle with four players (even if one isn’t actually playing because there were only three people on the stream, but you get the gist).

Super Bomberman R will release on March 3rd, 2017 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
