Today, developer Coilworks and publisher/developer Double Eleven announced that Super Cloudbuilt’s release has been narrowed down from “summer” to July 25th on PS4 and PC and July 28th on Xbox One.
For those that don’t know: Super Cloudbuilt is a frenetic sci-fi parkour platformer that first emerged on the scene back in 2014, when it released on PC. Now it has been remastered and updated, and is poised to re-release on PC, as well as release on PS4 and Xbox One.
In the game you play as Demi, a young solider who wakes up in the empty shell of a ruined building located in a strange new world, disconnected from her old life and physical body. Confused and isolated, Demi must push herself physically and mentally to overcome the obstacles of her new reality.
Gmeplay consists of fast, parkour free-running and sharp shooter, as you use Demi’s rocket-powered exo-suit to leap and run through expansive worlds floating above a vast abyss.
The game notably boasts multiple endings and 177 challenges across three different game modes. According to the developer, the remastered edition of the game stays true to the original concept with an emphasis on player skill and creativity, but has even more diversity in terms of mechanics, and a more connected and varied world.
