Today the Japanese arm of Nintendo released a brand new and rather detailed trailer of the Super Famicom Classic Mini, which is the local version of the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System that the west is getting.

Interestingly, the trailer provides a look at the games included in the console's memory (you can find a full list here), including the yet unreleased Star Fox 2, that has been pulled out of the archives for the occasion.

We also get to take a look at the user interface of the console, and at its features, including a replay function, twelve different frames and more.

The trailer then shows how, while the console is smaller, the controllers have remained the same size for ease of operation. Of course, to of them are included in the box.

The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom will release in Japan on October 5th, while the SNES Classic Mini comes to the west on September 29th. Pre-orders in North America are expected to start at the end of this month.

If you want to know how to pre-order the western version, keep an eye on our handy guide, which will be updated with American pre-order opportunities as they come up.
