The 35th anniversary for Super Mario is upon us. We've had rumors swirling that Nintendo is working on several remasters of classic Mario games. While we don't know for sure if that's coming yet, we do know that that their partnership with clothing company Uniqlo is going ahead as planned. The collection features several different graphic t-shirts and a few cotton shorts (kid's sizes only, unfortunately). It is already live in the UK, but will be coming to Uniqlo's US store in May.

These collections aren't anything new for Uniqlo. Currently, the US store has items from games like Super Mario Kart and Fortnite, along with an ongoing Dragon Ball Z line. However, given how big Nintendo appears to be going for Super Mario's coral anniversary, it's definitely worth a look. Personally, I'm not usually a big fan of graphic tees, but some of these are pretty neat. And, I'll say again, those shorts would be must-buys if they came in adult sizes. I would rock every single one of those on a daily basis if given the opportunity.

Going forward, it will be very interesting to see what Nintendo does with Super Mario's 35th anniversary. Obviously, the original plan likely surrounded a huge announcement at E3. However, with the show no longer happening, you have to wonder if Nintendo will just do something on their own. And will it be a digital-only release? That would certainly make tons of fans who are sitting at home right now very happy but will it work for Nintendo. Only time will tell.
