Nintendo surprisingly dropped a special Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct on September 3, revealing multiple new games related to the iconic mascot. The biggest reveal is the Super Mario 3D All Stars collection on Switch , which was rumored for multiple months now.Super Mario 3D All Stars will launch on Nintendo Switch on September 18. It'll include Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy. We have the Nintendo 64 mario, the Gamecube mario, and the Wii mario all together. Three great classics you'll be able to easily re-experience and share with your family. As long as you're willing to buy them again for 60$.The biggest thing to note is that Super Mario 3D All Stars itself is a limited offer until end of March 2021. As confirmed on its official site:

Please note: Super Mario 3D All-Stars will be available as a limited-run retail edition and a digital edition that is available for a limited time until the end of March 2021.

We won't be able to officially buy the collection after March 31, 2021. It's likely the limited-run retail edition will be sold out before March 2021 too. The only alternative will be buying the limited physical version from resellers. Needless to say this is gonna be a huge market for scalpers. I fear the morrow.

All three games will have higher resolutions, Super Mario Sunshine will have 16:9 Screen Ratio, and Super Mario Galaxy will add joycon support to replace the Wii controller motion gameplay. A huge OST with tracks from all three games will also be included in the collection.

Stay tuned as we'll soon cover all the other announcements from the Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct.
