Today the Japanese arm of Nintendo released a new video of its upcoming blockbuster game Super Mario Odyssey.

The game is played by comedian Masaru Hamaguchi, who shows quite a lot of gameplay. This means that unfortunately we get a lot of commentary (and canned laughter), but there is still a whole lot to enjoy.

We get to see one of the worlds, the Crazy Cap Shop and its wares, the Snaphshot mode, tons of exploration and even a heated boss battle. At the very end we also take a trip with Hamaguchi-san back to New Donk City.

You can check out the trailer below, and if you want to see even more, you can also enjoy a recent overview trailermore gameplay, a batch of screenshots and the upcoming Switch bundle, more gameplay, and one more clip.

Of course, you should also remember to read our hands-on preview.

Super Mario Odyssey will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in October 2017.
