In the upcoming Nintendo Switch game Super Mario Odyssey, our heroic plumber is going to visit a quasi-real world location named New Donk City. While confusing the hell out of some, it certainly looks really nice. It also served as inspiration for YouTube user CrowbCat for creating an absolutely hilarious, and also awesome, parody trailer.

The trailer, that you can see below, was created by modding the apparently immortal Grand Theft Auto IV, and shows how Mario discovers that the real world isn’t all fun and games.

Super Mario Odyssey is slated for release exclusively on Nintendo Switch this Holiday season, and if you want to see some actual assets of the game, you can check out the first trailer, the first screenshots and a rather interesting gameplay video showing Mario’s moves.

You can check the video out below (Keep in mind that it can be considered borderline not safe for work due to profanity and mild nudity). Good luck, Mario, you’re gonna need it.
