Super Meat Boy Forever Receives April 2019 Release Window

We learned that Super Meat Boy Forever will finally be releasing on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in April 2019.

The original Super Meat Boy made (blood filled) waves in the indie scene when it initially released, and its follow-up is finally on the horizon. As the first announcement at the Kinda Funny Games Showcase today, Team Meat finally gave a release month for Super Meat Boy Forever: April 2019.

Super Meat Boy Forever was first announced over a year ago during the Nindies Summer Showcase 2017, and originally had a vague 2018 release window. While Super Meat Boy Forever ended up missing that year-long window, I’d rather the developers take more time to polish this tightly designed platformer.

The trailer announcing the release date once again gives us a look at the game’s fast paced and deadly gameplay, highlighting its platforming, bosses, and the newfound light combat elements. You can catch the release month announcement trailer below. Super Meat Boy Forever will release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in April 2019.
