Super Meat Boy Forever was officially announced for the Nintendo Switch on the Nindies Showcase Summer 2017.

The popular Team Meat mascot will be make his return with his girlfriend Bandage Girl to fight Dr. Fetus in a new endless platforming game.

The trailer shows a slight deviation from the original. The game will feature side-scrolling platforming, and a punch attack not feature in the original, Super Meat Boy. Team Meat doesn't seem to have forgotten what fans loved about the original with goofy character designs, fast-paced gameplay, and challenging platforming exemplified in the new trailer.

As you progress through the many stages of Super Meat Boy Forever, the difficulty of each proceeding level will increase. The perpetual difficulty increases, daily challenges, intense platforming action, and much more allow for an incredible amount of replayability.

Team Meat released the popular platformer, Super Meat Boy, in 2010. The game garnered tons of praise from multiple outlets throughout the industry. The last game released for the Nintendo Switch by Super Meat Boy's designer, Edmund McMillen, was the incredibly replayable Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth +.

Super Meat Boy Forever will release for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS and Adnroid in 2018. A specific date has yet to be released.
