Today, developer Metalhead Software revealed Super Mega Baseball 2's gameplay for the first time via a new video.

The footage shown is actual in-game gameplay, from the game's pre-alpha version of the game. That being, it's important to note that some things may change in the final version of the game.

As previously reported, and as you can see in the new video, the game's art style has changed, and now boasts a more realistic and mature looking design than the last game. Player proportions are now more realistic and mature, but still contain a bit of the game's previous stylish and lighthearted vibe.

You will also see the game's new animations approach, which better showcases athleticism and athletic plays, the more detailed stadiums, and the improvement in lighting.

Super Mega Baseball 2 is set to release sometime in mid-2017 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Below, you can check out the new video:
