Bandai Namco launched a new gameplay video for their upcoming mech strategy game Super Robot Wars X.

The video shows 13-minutes of gameplay from Super Robot Wars X’s first chapter titled “Journey Prologue”. Players can preview the game as well as the characters to see how this entry in the series differs from the previous entries.

Super Robot Wars X combines the genres of sci-fi with a variety of robot mech series all featured in one crossover action game. Players will get to choose mechs and pilots from across five popular series, Nadia, The Secret of Blue Water, plus Gundam Reconguista in G, Mashin Hero Wataru, Buddy Complex and Buddy Complex Final Act. Furthermore, each character will be featured in an original story that intertwines the various series into one story.

In case you missed it, the publisher recently released a large batch of screenshots as well as a new trailer showing even more gameplay.

Super Robot Wars X will release in Japan on March 29 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, followed by the launch in Southeast Asia on April 26. Western fans of the series will enjoy the news that the Asian version will include English subtitles, alongside Japanese voices.
