Back when Pirahna Plant was announced as a DLC fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, players were pleased to know that they could receive the character for free if they purchased the game and registered it before January 31. Well, if you are one of the people who registered before that date, you have two more days to get the character for free before you have to pay.

If you met those qualifications before January 31 then you should have received a code from Nintendo allowing you to redeem the character for the game. The code is valid only until June 30. If you do not meet the qualifications to obtain the character for free or forget to redeem your code, then you will have to purchase Piranha Plant for $5.99. Be aware that Pirahna Plant is not a part of the Fighters Pass that gives players access to the other DLC characters in the game.

Pirahna Planet was actually the first DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Joker from Persona 5 was announced back in December and released in April. It was also announced earlier this month at E3 that The Hero from the Dragon Quest series and the long-requested Banjo-Kazooie are going to be the next characters coming to the game in Summer and Fall, respectively. That leaves two more characters to be announced for the game's fighter pass.

You can purchase Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Amazon here. The Fighters Pass is available on the Nintendo eShop for $24.99.
