There’s a new Super Smash Bros. game coming up right around the corner, you know what that means, time to wait in line outside of Best Buy for seven hours.

Best Buy has announced the locations where players can get their hands on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before the rest of the general public. On select dates in September and October, folks in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Dallas, Atlanta, Denver, Miami, and Seattle will be in proximity to a Best Buy location with a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate kiosk.

Waiting in line has become something of a tradition for Super Smash Bros. players. Best Buy hosted similar (albeit larger) events before Super Smash Bros. Wii U launched back in 2014. Additionally, Nintendo (due to large line sizes) updated their E3 protocol this year, forcing players to register online if they wanted to play Super Smash. Bros Ultimate. Of course, the lines don’t stop there. From Gamescon to PAX West, if you’ve gotten your hands on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate., there’s a good chance you have the ankle soreness to prove it.

I personally attended Best Buy’s Super Smash Bros. Wii U event in New York City and promptly turned around once I noticed that the line wrapped around the block. I decided to get breakfast and bought the game the day it came out instead. In my opinion, this is one of the wisest decisions I’ve ever made in my life.
