Fans of the Smash Bros. series got a boatload of new information today from the previously-announced Nintendo Direct, and given that the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature the series’ largest roster ever, it’s only appropriate that it gets suitably epic artwork to go with it.
Following today’s Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nintendo has released some updated artwork for the highly-anticipated fighting game. The artwork itself is a character mural that was previously released earlier this year showing every fighter that has been confirmed for the game so far, though it has since been updated with some notable new additions to the roster.
Specifically, the mural itself now features character art for the newly-revealed fighters that were announced during today’s Direct: Castlevania‘s Simon Belmont and his Echo Fighter Richter, Donkey Kong Country‘s King K. Rool, and the game’s two new Echo Fighters, Metroid‘s Dark Samus and Fire Emblem‘s Chrom.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will release for Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018. If you have yet to pick up a copy of the game, you can head over to Amazon and pre-order the game right now before its release this holiday season.
