While it only launched just a few weeks agoDaemon X Machina has already taken off on Nintendo Switch thanks to its stylish mech action. If you're looking for more of the mech game to enjoy, you can look no further than a new limited time event for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Nintendo has announced that a new Spirit Board Challenge for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is kicking off this weekend that is themed around the recently-released Daemon X Machina. Specifically, the event will offer four new Spirits to unlock in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with the event to begin at 11pm PT on Thursday, September 26 and will run for five days after that.

While this might come short of giving us a new playable character from the recently-released title, fans of Daemon X Machina should still get a nice bonus by seeing the game represented in the Smash Bros. universe, even if it's just in a small way by unlocking new Spirits.

Fans of Super Smash Bros., on the other hand, have had plenty to be excited about over the past couple months. Earlier this month, fans finally got the chance to play as Banjo-Kazooie with the colorful duo's release as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's third DLC fighter. Nintendo also confirmed that additional DLC fighters for the game are in the works beyond the ones that have been announced for the game's initial Fighter Pass, with the next character to be Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard in November.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Daemon X Machina are both now available on Nintendo Switch.
