With the release date of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate so close, and yet so far way, fans have been eagerly awaiting any news about the game ever since it was announced back in March, and it looks they’re going to get some new information this week.

Today, Nintendo announced at EVO 2018 that there will be a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct livestream on Wednesday, August 8th as tweeted by Nintendo Versus:

With the game’s epic trailer at E3 and the news that the game will be including every single character ever released in previous Super Smash Bros. titles, many are speculating about what information could be released during the Direct livestream. You’ll be able to watch the livestream on Nintendo’s website on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET, but if you happen to miss it, DualShockers will have you covered.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be released for Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018. You can head over here to check out DualShockers’ preview of the game at E3.
