After a crazy past week of potential rumors and leaks regarding Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it's time to hear more about the upcoming fighting game from directly from Nintendo.Nintendo announced this morning that they will be holding yet another Nintendo Direct exclusively focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate later this week on Thursday, November 1 at 10:00 AM EST. The Direct is estimated to last for 40 minutes and will as always, feature the game's director Masahiro Sakurai delivering all of the latest news for Ultimate.Following the Direct, Nintendo will also be holding a new Nintendo Treehouse live stream which will feature new gameplay of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in addition to Diablo III, Pokemon: Let's Go! and Yoshi's Crafted World.Personally speaking, I don't think I have been more excited for a Nintendo Direct in a long time. Following the potential roster leak last week, I'm dying to know if those characters that were seen in the supposed leaked banner art are actually coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Please, Sakurai, I beg you: save Banjo-Kazooie.Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is slated to launch on December 7, exclusively for Switch. Check back into DualShockers on Thursday if you can't watch the Direct for yourself and we'll keep you up to date on all of the latest news.
