Those eager to see more of the newest characters of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate can get a taste of them through some official gameplay footage captured by the development team. These two new videos from Nintendo contain full matches featuring King K. Rool, Dark Samus, and Chrom, along with some new gameplay features.

The first video has K. Rool fight against veteran Smash Bros. character Snake in Kongo Falls. With an absolute bonkers cover of Gangplank Galleon as background music, this hotly-anticipated character appears to play just as Donkey Kong Country fans were hoping for.

Lastly, the second video features a team battle between Metroid characters Dark Samus and Ridley, and Fire Emblem characters Chrom and Lucina. Seasoned players will be able to spot subtle differences between Dark Samus and Chrom and the characters their movesets are based upon, Samus and Roy, respectively. The video also demonstrates the new "Stage Morph" feature, with the stage transforming between Arena Fenox and Brinstar.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases exclusively on Nintendo Switch on December 7.
