[UPDATE] Super Smash Bros. Ultimate New amiibo and Release Dates Revealed

Wondering when the next rounds of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo are coming out? Nintendo has detailed the next few releases.

In addition to the list below, we got confirmation that Pirannah Plant will be making it in on the second batch on February 19, 2019.

on’t worry — if you have been curating your amiibo collection to have a full Super Smash Bros. line, you won’t be kept out of the loop when it comes to the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighters. During today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct, Sakurai revealed new batches of amiibo releases for some of the newly announced characters.

The batches will be:

  • December 7, 2018:
    • Wolf
    • Inkling
    • Ridley
  • February 15, 2019:
    • King K. Rool
    • Ice Climbers
    • Pirannah Plant
  • 2019:
    • Isabelle
    • Pichu
    • Young Link
    • Ken
    • Daisy

Even better, Sakurai confirmed that there will be a new amiibo figure for every new fighter. Everyone who has been following the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate news today will instantly notice that Inceneroar didn’t make this list, so there is a chance we will be seeing another batch of releases of further additions.

Of course, the addition of new amiibo figures isn’t going to be a surprise to everyone following the amiibo announcement scene. Nintendo has let everyone know from the earliest announcements that they would be putting forward a new line.
