While the fighting game mechanics for the series have gradually grown more complex, what hasn't changed for the Super Smash Bros. series is the fact that the series is beloved by fans for bringing together dozens of beloved characters from Nintendo and beyond together, and a new video making the rounds online taps into that fan appreciation for the series in a hilarious way.

A new video from Legend of Micah (YouTube) debuted on the heels of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's release on Nintendo Switch, with the video featuring four professional stuntmen playing the roles of Mario, Link, Ness, and Captain Falcon.

Notably, the four stuntmen featured in the video have all worked on large-scale TV and film projects such as The Walking DeadMacGyver, and several films from Marvel Studios, making the action of seeing these Nintendo duke it out that much more convincing by comparison.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now exclusively for Nintendo Switch. If you want to take a look at what the game looks like in real life (or at least get an idea of what it would look like with four stuntmen involved), you can check out the video below from Legend of Micah:
