Super Street Fighter IV Box Art Is Here

January 26, 2010

Knock, knock. Who’s there? Super Street Fighter IV. Super Street Fighter IV who? Super Street Fighter IV box art, that’s who! If you’ve been wondering just what the newest addition to the Street Fighter franchise – Super Street Fighter IV – was going to give you in terms of box art, we’ve got it for you right here. Well, not literally here… but below this post.

Showing off his ridiculous deltoids, biceps brachi (see I know my muscle terms), triceps and forearms, is none other than the face of Street Fighter itself, Ryu – alongside Juri and the well-known veteran Chun-Li; and below them, Dee Jay, Adon, and the voluptuous onesie-wearing Cammy.   Everyone knows Ryu, so it only makes sense to throw him on the cover of the game as the more “pop-out” figure. After all, he is the definition of badass.

Super Street Fighter IV is set to hit store shelves on April 27th. Personally, I’m digging the box art. I mean, I can probably pull of something better in Photoshop, but it’s a good copy-and-paste work overall. What do you guys think?

He's a software engineer, father and husband during the day, and mildly attempts to hold onto his "hardcore gamer" title during the evenings. An attempt that he tends to fail miserably at.
