Clash Quest, the next big project from Supercell after Clash Mini, has been officially discontinued as the developer claimed that the game did not meet their standards.

It's been a long time since the launch of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale as the two most popular competitive mobile games from Supercell. Since then, the developer has been working on multiple projects, but none of them has reached the popularity of their initial launches so far.

Clash Mini is one of the Supercell projects that is still in active development, despite being available as a playable game in select countries. In addition to Mini, Supercell was also working on Clash Quest as a new entry from the Clash universe, but surprisingly enough, the developer revealed today that they will no longer continue working on this project.

As the statement reveals, Supercell has already tried to change the concept for Clash Quest, but even the new design wasn't impressive enough to meet their standards, which is the reason why they have decided to cancel the project.

Similar to Clash Mini, Clash Quest is also available as a playable game to a limited number of audiences around the world, but it will no longer see the light of the day as a fully launched game.

According to Supercell, if you have made any in-game purchases in Clash Quest so far, you will be able to transfer those purchases to any other Supercell game that is currently live and fully launched, including Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Boom Beach, and Hay Day. To do so, you need to contact the support team at Supercell.

The servers for Clash Quest will start to shut down later in September 2022, but before that, the game will be de-listed from any official marketplace such as Google Play to avoid new downloads.

Supercell promised to reveal more information on this decision in a dedicated record in the future.

It's yet to be seen whether other soft-launched titles of the developer like Clash Mini and Everdale would have a similar future, but if the player base doesn't reach the minimum expectations of the developer, it is not surprising to see more Supercell projects get canned.
