If you enjoy your mind-bending puzzles with an added multiplayer mode, Superliminal's new update is catered just for you.

Indie developer Pillow Castle has quite a lot to celebrate right now. As they approach their first anniversary of Superliminal launching on Steam, the highly-acclaimed forced-perspective puzzle game is also getting a pretty big update.

Superliminal arrived on the Steam platform almost two whole years ago and for those who aren't too sure what the heck this game is about, it's essentially a single-player puzzle title based on forced perspective and optical illusions. Puzzles in Superliminal give players the sense of the unexpected and in turn, they must change their perspective and think outside the box to wake up from the dream.

Gear up for Superliminal's New Multiplayer Mode

To mark the one-year release anniversary of developer Pillow Castle's forced-perspective puzzle game, the gaming studio will be adding an all-new multiplayer mode for free on November 5th that will allow players to feel the joy and frustration of puzzle-solving with friends in a series of frantic obstacle courses. The experimental “battle royale” mode will be available through the holiday season.

Experimental “Battle Royale” Mode - What's in store for players?

This seasonal update offers a fun—and frankly surreal—spin on the forced perspective puzzle game players have come to know and love. This totally normal, not-strange-at-all “battle royale” mode will pit up to 12 players against each other through a series of randomly generated rooms full of surreal obstacles in a race to the end, under the watchful eye of the Standard Orientation Protocol. Just look for the exit signs… and watch out for the ducks!

Superliminal will be available on Steam with a celebratory 50% discount from November 5th until November 12th, 2021 making it a great reason to get stuck into some puzzle chaos with your mates.
