Even though it released at the tail-end of summer in August, Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn is the perfect kind of treat to play during Halloween this week, and the developer is teasing some sort of surprise just in time for the creepy and cinematic game.
Supermassive Games is teased through Twitter a surprise in store for Until Dawn to celebrate Halloween, with the studio confirming that players playing the game today (October 28) will be able to find a special message when starting the game.
However, crafty users that set their clocks forward on their PS4s were able to find the message, which revealed an image that hidden pumpkins appear to be popping up in the game, with the message telling users to “tweet your best pumpkin screenshot” using the hashtag “#UntilDawnPumpkin” on Halloween (October 31), and closing out the message to “look out for more news from @PlayStation and @SUPERMGames.”
We’ll have to wait and see what this leads to on Halloween, but nevertheless its an intriguing update for Until Dawn and a fun little bonus for those looking to play the game on All Hallows’ Eve.
Until Dawn is available now for PS4.
Halloween is on the way, and we’ve hidden something in #UntilDawn. So look out for a special message when you start the game from the 28th!
