Deck13 Interactive's The Surge is coming soon for PS4, Xbox One and PC, but what about the Switch, and support for PS4 Pro and the upcoming Xbox console code named Project Scorpio?

DualShockers had a chat with Deck13 Managing Director Jan Klose, and we took the chance to ask.

First of all, Klose confirmed that support for both PS4 Pro and Project Scorpio is in the works:

"There will definitely be special support, but I can’t go into too much detail here. But we’re working on features for these consoles."

Unfortunately for those that were hoping to play The Surge on the go, at the moment there are no pans for a Nintendo Switch version, even if Klose mention that this might change in the future.

"We love the Switch but right now our focus is on PC, Xbox and PlayStation. This might change in the future, but there’s nothing on the horizon as of yet."

So there you have it, straight from the lion's mouth. If you want to hear more, we'll have the full interview up very soon, so stay tuned on DualShockers.

The Surge will release on May 16th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
