Last year, Haemimont Games, who are known for the recent Tropico games, and Paradox Interactive announced Surviving Mars, a space management/strategy game, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. We haven't heard too much about the game since then outside of a new trailer at Gamescom, but today it was revealed that the game will be releasing on March 15.

This is kind of ironic, as the month of March's name is derived from the Roman God Mars, who is also the basis for the name of the planet in our solar system that the game takes place on. At launch, the game will cost players $39.99.

Alongside this release date announcement, Haemimont Games and Paradox Interactive also revealed that the game will have 4K support at launch on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Like most other Paradox Games, Surviving Mars will also have full-on mod support on PC, so players can craft and bend the game to their liking. Unfortunately, it does not seem like the console versions of the game will have mod support.

You can check out the newest trailer that reveals the game's release date below. Surviving Mars will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One with PS4 Pro and Xbox One X support on March 15.
