Swery Interested In More Deadly Premonition Projects

In a recent interview with Metro (yeah, the newspaper that every London commuter reads; go figure), Swery (director of cult-hit Deadly Premonition) mentioned that he’s interested in working on more projects related to Deadly Premonition. A few projects he mentioned that are “possible” or “on the table” include:

  • a sequel
  • a prequel
  • a “director’s cut” version of the original Deadly Premonition with improved graphics

I loved the original game, so it’s good to know that it was successful enough that he can do more with that universe. It’s also good that he recognizes that the original game was flawed (very deeply flawed), and that he can make something much more well-designed.
