If you’re tired of using your dock to charge your Nintendo Switch and you don’t want to buy any third-party products like me, then up until now you’ve been kinda screwed. That changes today, however, as the house of Mario officially revealed a brand new charging stand for the popular portable gaming console.
The design of the stand is relatively simple. Players first connect their USB cable to the accessory and then simply place the device in the cradle. The best part is that it’s completely adjustable, meaning to can adapt to all sorts of angles.
Of course, this isn’t meant as a replacement for the dock that comes with the Switch as there is no HDMI, meaning you won’t be able to hook it up to a TV or compatible monitor. You can check out at an image of the stand above.
This is also relatively cheap, clocking in at only $19.99, which seems pretty reasonable compared to other Nintendo accessories (I’m looking at you $80 Joy-Cons).
The Adjustable Charging Stand is set to be available on July 31, 2018. If you want to pick up a Nintendo Switch on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
