According to DSOG, Nintendo Switch emulators such as Yuzu and Ryujinx are able to run Bayonetta 3 without any significant performance issues at a constant 60FPS frame rate. As a YouTuber recently shared a video of playing Bayonetta 3 on PC, the game runs super smooth on a high-end system in 4K resolution.

Bayonetta 3 was yet another successful launch on Nintendo Switch that was widely acclaimed by media and fans. However, you probably know that the game is exclusive to Nintendo Switch, and it is unlikely to come to PC officially anytime soon.

That being said, not all the doors are shut for PC gamers. It's been a while since Nintendo Switch emulators on PC have made enough progress that they have been able to run new Switch titles right after their exclusive launch on the Nintendo Store. As unfortunate as it is to see games played for free in the world of pirate gaming, it is actually interesting that in some cases, emulators can run the games better than the original console.

Bayonetta 3 is already a good example of how powerful Switch emulators have become. A video shared by xyz2theb on YouTube showcases Bayonetta 3 running in 4K resolution at a constant 60FPS frame rate using a Switch emulator. Now, the system that runs it at this level is already a beast, equipped with an RTX 3080Ti and an Intel Core-i9 12900K. However, the game is expected to still run quite well on medium-grade gaming PCs as well.

The YouTuber has used the Ryunjix emulator, which does seem to have made significant improvement recently. Prior to Bayonetta 3, many other Switch exclusives became playable on PC using the emulators, including The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Maker 2, Astral Chain, and many other exclusive titles.

With recent improvements, it is expected that the upcoming Switch titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can also be playable on PC using emulators on day one of launch. It remains unknown whether Nintendo will take any legal action to shut down the emulator projects.
